I’ve never heard of tomatoes in pepper steak. I’m gonna have to try this!

Use a whole chicken and you will get super rich broth. Throw in a little bullion and a couple of splashes of milk and you don’t need those high sodium cans of soup. Roll your biscuit strips in flour before dropping them and that will thicken the broth. Yum!!

I'm with you on Chick-Fil-A and their carrot and raisin salad. I loved it. Same with their chicken salad sandwiches on toasted bread. It was my favorite things to get from there. The longer this salad sits, the more plumped up the raisins get. I liked that part about it too.

My Mom made this all the time. I have seen her add peanut butter also and that’s good also on a sandwich.

A friend of mine use to make this year's ago and she knew that I absolutely loved it .She used pineapple preserves instead of canned pineapple and she didn't add any sugar .But it's just a matter of preference, either way is scrumptious ❣️
